Here’s a very obscure card set. Pre-War tobacco cards and early lithography are two of my favorite things. After recreating classics like Allen & Ginter and Gypsy Queen I started to look around for more inspiration. The Churchman Footballers set from 1914 isn’t widely known in the US, but is instantly recognizable among UK collectors. This is my recreation using baseball subjects.
