Dick Perez is one of the greatest sports artists of all time. And that’s not an exaggeration. His work has been featured literally everywhere and he’s an inspiration to every card artist out there, including me.

I have very little watercolor skill, so I took it as a challenge to emulate Mr. Perez’s style through Photoshop. I think I came close, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the originals.
