After a successful handcrafted Presidential refractor set, I was fortunate once again to work with the client on a set of cards for historical figures. The concept was “Pieces of the Past” with subjects represented by public domain or custom sketched art work, combined with materials embedded in the cards with a historical connection to the subject. I created a base design, with whitespace to incorporate foil printing techniques, as well as single, double and triple relic designs to embed the materials.

In addition to card design, the project also required packaging materials. Both a box and a foil pack design were created, which in turn facilitated the need for a logo design as well.
